i know i have blogged about grace mcdunnough before and i will again i am sure. she reads this blog so i will refrain from going on and on about how grace's music touches my soul as that would embarrass us both. i will say that if you have not been to one of her shows you simply.must.go.
last night grace asked members of her group if anyone would be interested in a final performance of musimmersion before she takes the sets down. the response was immediate -- the show is limited to 20 audience members and each seat was filled. sl was in rare form meaning there was bad lag, people were crashing left and right and scripts were not running well. still grace and salome strangelove handled the technical issues with good cheer and we were treated to one of the most lovely musical and visual experiences i have ever had in second life.
as i looked around and saw familiar names and faces it struck me what a great community we have in sl live music and in that moment i was reminded of why i keep coming back to despite the many issues that frustrate us all. music, art, and great people -- is there anything else?
i took a ton of photos that are on my flickr but since you really have to see the movement in this show to appreciate it i will share a short video.
i hope the new version of musimmersion will be ready for us all to enjoy soon.
