new beach stage at Molaskey's Pub

as we move toward the warmer weather here in the northeast us, the staff at Molaskey's have been talking about reworking our beach stage. we had heard from musicians that they felt too far removed from the audience and wanted to address this concern. so we played around with ideas, puttered around building a little. i won't mention the unfortunate incident where i rezed what i thought was a mega prim only to find out it was a 40 meter sphere made of 1,346,297 unlinked prims. no not going there.

well, the event that shall not be mentioned is even more embarrassing because apple got there and found me cleaning up the mess. sheesh. not one of my better moments. so then apple thinks, builds for...ermmm....about 5 minutes and comes up with a concept. a round stage on the water. he tinkers for another moment and the results are shown below.

this picture does not begin to capture the comfortable feel of the new Molaskey's Beach stage. the game tables are still set up on the patio so rather than take my word for it why don't you stop by any time, play a game of backgammon and have a look around. better yet, join us on sunday afternoon for the shows.

It was a bit more then 5 minutes... but thanks, I'm glad everyone likes the new stage. I also now know what my parents must have felt like coming home when I was a teenager... You never know what you'd find going on.
