Rouge -- Sim Opening today

You know who CodeBastard Redgrave is, right? She was named Avastar of the Year in 2007, she is the creator of the Machinmacam and of course Codie is the creative force behind the Boudoir Rouge photo series that is comprised of pinup style photographs of some of the most beautiful avatars on the grid. (Not me, but a girl can hope right?) Anyway you look at it Codie is an influential person in SL who also happens to be friendly, kind and has a huge giving heart.

Today Codie's new sim Rouge is opening at 2pm and there is going to be a party that lasts well into the night. You can find the details here. The music will be phenomenal, the company fun and frivolous and you are likely to see lots of SLcelebrities dancing various states of undress. You can't resist that, can you?

Rouge was created by Eshi Otawara one of SLs most artistic builders. I can honestly say I have never seen a build like Rouge before. Everything Eshi does comes with her own unique creative spark infused into it and Rouge is no exception. I was lucky enough to attend the Press Conference about the sim opening yesterday and grabbed a few photos. The first two photos are the sim from the sky so you can see that the sim is created in the shape of Codie herself. The next photo is the lounge inside Rouge followed by the Red Walk, which showcases some of Codie's Boudoir Rouge photographs.

Rouge will be open to the public after the opening so even if you can't make this event stop by and look at the art, stop in Codie's shop and relax and enjoy this living breathing bit of Second Life.
