I was able to grab a little time with Zha which was just wonderful. I am starting to realize how lucky we are to live in the same timezone. Its hard enough to find enough time as it is but adding a 6 hour time difference is brutal. I imagine people who have to live with that must be frustrated. How cool is it that we even have people in our lives who live on the other side of the world though. I love how the virtual world makes the distance an inconvenience in our relationships rather than making them an impossibility.
Anyway, I got to ride a winged horse around Shengri La, courtesy of Shenli Flasheart's free horse rezzer. If you want to ride a horse through one of the most lovely set of sims in SL follow the link and enjoy. You sit on a saddle, a horse is rezzed and given to you as an object in your inventory. You wear the horse and ride! You can change the saddle, change the gait of your horse and even fly. It is a wonderful freebie and lot of fun. While you are there take a moment to learn about the Fashion Research Institute, which is doing amazing work within SL and in OpenSim.

After a riding adventure I listened to 80s music spun by the awesome DJ Rosie and amazing funk from the always fantastic DJ Esteban. Much of the old crowd was back at Clockwork (including Wrath in a kilt -- no lie!), which was great fun. I was in IM a lot so I watched chat flow by as is my habit. I know I missed much of the conversation but I will say reentry, even after a short time, is a bit overwhelming.
All in all it was a perfect SL day.
