I love huge art shows where I can see work from lots of different people in one place. I guess I am lazy that way. Give me a big huge helping of 3d immersive art and lots of it, thank you very much. This evening I spent a long time looking at the University of Western Australia Challenge People's Choice show. The basic idea is artists submit work, people like you and me look at it and then we get to pick our three favorites and vote for them. At the end of the voting period winners are declared and then there is a big party with much merriment. Simple, delicious and fun.
You still have about 24 hours vote so use the slurl at the bottom and check it out. If you can't do that then think about going to the party. It is sure to be a great time. Of course it is really early in the morning for me as this is an Australian event but I am going to make an effort to get there anyway.
As I said, I am lazy so here is the summary of the party stolen shamelessly from Chestnut's Choices in New World Notes on Thursday. (It isn't plagerism when you steal your own words, right?)
