So, its been a while since I posted here. Its been even longer since I had anything meaningful to say about Second Life. I am starting to feel like it is possible that after many years "Second Life of My Dreams" has run its course. When I think "I should blog something" I drew a total blank. There are people writing about things to do, there are people writing about music and art. There are bloggers offering witty commentary about the "benefits" of premium membership and others who can even get the mesh viewer to run on their computers. Imagine that? Those folks can show you mesh clothing and builds that incorporate mesh.
It isn't all that interesting to say "I logged into SL, petted my Meerooos, stood around and didn't talk to anyone. Then I logged out and played mindless Facebook games for an hour and then I went to bed where I did not actually sleep. Instead I stressed out my life and the fact that my creative soul appears to be DOA."
No one wants to read that. I don't want to write that either.
So, yeah. This blog might be finished. I don't know. If a creative muse finds her way to my house I will write something. If not? I will be playing bubble spinner and sobbing softly.

"uncreative periods are the yin/yang of artistic yearning".
I don't remember who said that. dry spells happen sometimes, it's just the ebb and flow of life. be easy on yourself my friend.
Even inspiration takes a holiday. you've been posting relentlessly for ages now and I've wondered at your dedication while enjoying all of it.
declare a month off and see if the reservoir isn't refilled a bit. you'll know when it is time to write again and no matter the subject or the venue it will be worth the read :)
Chestnut, I have loved your posts. Take a break if you need to, but I'm sure you'll be back with fresh things to say soon.
Hugz!
